The design of the CO5 lends itself to reduced speech produced popping sounds and voice overloads in close mic applications. It is also less susceptible to wind and clothing noise than lavalier style microphones. Its distinguishing clarity in close-talk operation and excellent gain before feedback make it suitable for applications where higher degrees of speech intelligibility are desired. Plus, the CO5 can be converted from the single ear-worn microphone to a dual ear set wearing option with support from either the left or right ear for added microphone stability. Convert the headset with a simple locking twist of the ear hook.
