The SD-Nano rack accepts both analogue and digital input and output cards including AES/EBU, Dante, AES-42, ADAT, HD-SDI and Aviom. For purely digital applications, the DiGiCo SD-Nano Rack runs up to 16 ins and outs, while all analogue scenarios can benefit from a maximum of 16 ins or outs or any combination thereof in banks of eight (for example, eight in and eight out). The SD-Nano Rack is only available as an optically connected rack.
