The Evertz 7705CWDM-M8 is an 8-channel Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) mux (multiplexer) optical module designed for high-capacity, multi-channel signal transport over single-mode fiber. It is a passive, bi-directional module, meaning it does not require external power and can combine or separate optical signals travelling in both directions on a single fiber, significantly increasing network capacity and reducing the need for additional fiber infrastructure.
