The Soundcraft GB8 40 is a 40-channel analog mixing console designed for professional use in large venues, houses of worship, and touring systems. It features Soundcraft's high-quality GB30 microphone preamps and precision 4-band GB30 EQ on every channel, ensuring excellent audio fidelity. The console includes a dual-mode topology for versatile use as either a Front-of-House (FOH) or monitor mixer. It is built with a rugged steel chassis for durability, and includes a comprehensive 11x4 output matrix, 8 subgroups, and 4 stereo channels for flexible routing. The GB8 40 has an integrated meter bridge with three LED meters that closely emulate the ballistics of VU meters, and an integral power supply with a link option for an external backup PSU.
