Known for the classic ARRI construction using corrosion-resistant, extruded, die-cast aluminum, the fixture maximizes body strength while remaining relatively light for location work. The "Plus" designation often refers to an updated design that offers improved serviceability and easier lamp installation. Despite its small size, it uses a short focal length, wide-angle Fresnel lens to produce impressive light output and even distribution across the entire beam area. The light output can be precisely focused from a narrow spot to a wide flood using a smooth, worm-gear-driven focusing mechanism.

Beam Angle: Offers a variable beam angle, adjustable from a narrow 12° to 14.5° in the spot position up to 52° to 55° in the flood position.
Color Temperature: Produces a warm, consistent light with a correlated color temperature of 3200K, ideal for matching other traditional studio lights.
Construction: Features a durable, rust-resistant housing made from die-cast aluminum.
Mounting: Equipped with a standard 5/8" spigot/receiver mount for easy attachment to most professional light stands.
Control: The lamphead can be dimmed externally from 0 to 100% using a compatible external dimming system.
