The JBL Commercial Series Amplifiers (CSA) 1300Z utilizes Crown's DriveCore™ Technology to deliver efficient and reliable sound amplification with 300W RMS output power into 4 Ohms or 8 Ohms. It is designed for simple configuration and use in various commercial settings, such as restaurants, retail stores, offices, and schools. The amplifier features an integrated output transformer to drive 70V or 100V speaker systems, and supports low impedance outputs as well. It has a universal power supply, accepting AC voltages from 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, making it suitable for worldwide deployment. The amplifier's efficient design is part of HARMAN's GreenEdge™ environmental initiative, which reduces power consumption significantly compared to older designs. It also features a selectable Sleep Mode for further energy savings, which automatically puts the amp into hibernation if no signal is received for approximately two hours and immediately responds when a signal is reintroduced. The CSA 1300Z has a sleek look with illuminated rings making knobs easy to see and use. It includes balanced mic/line inputs (Euroblock) and unbalanced RCA stereo inputs. Speaker connections are provided via barrier strip output connectors for secure and reliable connections. It also includes an RJ45 connector for an optional remote volume control using JBL's CSR-V module and standard Ethernet cable. The amplifier has independent bass and treble controls for each output channel. The CSA 1300Z is a fan-cooled, 2U rack-mountable unit and includes a rack mounting kit.
