The Crestron QM-RMC Room Media Controller is a compact, multifunction room control and media interface designed for small to mid-sized presentation spaces such as classrooms, huddle rooms, and conference rooms. It combines AV signal switching, audio amplification, system control, and network connectivity into a single hardware unit, reducing the need for multiple separate components. As part of Crestron’s QuickMedia® (QM) platform, the QM-RMC enables reliable long-distance transmission of audio, video, and control signals over a single CresCAT® cable.

The QM-RMC acts as the central control hub in a room, allowing seamless integration of source devices such as laptops, DVD players, and document cameras with displays and audio systems. It supports centralized control through Crestron touch panels or button panels and can also be managed remotely via the network. This makes it particularly useful for standardized room deployments where ease of use, reliability, and simplified cabling are priorities.
