The S-EIDC32 (Ethernet-Enabled Integrated Door Controller) is a small form-factor device that is designed to be installed at the door, often fitting into a standard double-gang electrical box. This approach, known as edge-based IP access control, minimizes the amount of wiring needed by using standard Cat 5 or Cat 6 Ethernet cable to carry both power (via PoE) and data, connecting directly to the nearest network switch.It provides all the necessary inputs and outputs for connecting standard door hardware, such as card readers (Wiegand format), door contacts, push-to-exit buttons, and electronic locks. The controller can function as a standalone unit with an embedded web interface for configuration, or as part of a larger, integrated security management system using 3xLogic's Infinias Access Control Management software.
