The Azden i-Coustics HX-Mi TRRS Mic/Headphone Cable is designed to make your Azden or other brand of microphone or wireless mic receiver (with 3.5 mm mini-plug output) compatible with your mobile devices. The HX-Mi is compatible with any device with a traditional TRRS headphone jack (CTIA standard). If your device does not have a traditional headphone jack, then the use of either a Lightning to Headphone Adapter (Apple iOS) or USB-C to Headphone Adapter (Android) will be required. No specials apps or software are required for compatibility; your device will automatically use the audio coming from your connected microphone.

The HX-Mi provides two female 3.5 mm connection jacks: the jack marked “ECM-Mic” is for connecting your microphone while the jack marked “SPK” is for connecting wired headphones or earbuds. Connecting headphones allows you the convenience of listening back to your recordings without having to disconnect the cables, and possibly live-monitoring audio while recording (the app used must allow this feature).

Any microphone that terminates with a 3.5 mm TS or TRS plug is compatible with the HX-Mi. This includes, but is not limited to, the following popular Azden models: WLX-PRO, WMS-PRO, PRO-XR, PRO-XD, 310LT, SGM-99o, SMX-15, EX-503.
