The Juice Goose RCDM1 Remote Control Combiner with Alarm Contact (Power Sequencer) is a vital interface designed to integrate an alarm system with Juice Goose CQ Series power sequencers, ensuring automated shutdown of connected audio or power equipment during an emergency. This unit features a contact terminal for connection to a dry contact closure on an alarm control panel. Under normal conditions, with the contact maintained, connected CQ Series sequencers operate conventionally, allowing sequenced power-up and shutdown. However, upon activation of an alarm and the opening of this contact, the RCDM1 automatically initiates an orderly sequence down of all controlled CQ Series power distribution units, silencing the system for safety. The RCDM1 requires a 12 VAC power source, which is supplied with the unit.
