When equipped with the AES/EBU Input/Output Card featuring BNC connectors, it provides a dedicated and high-quality digital audio interface for integrating external digital devices, such as playback systems, recording interfaces, or broadcast feeds, directly into the console’s digital signal path without unnecessary analog conversion.

The AES/EBU card installs into one of the Nano rack's modular slots, offering multiple channels of balanced digital audio I/O via robust BNC connectors, which are preferred in professional installations for their secure locking mechanism and superior signal integrity over long distances. This card allows digital audio streams to be patched directly into the console’s input matrix or taken as direct outputs from the console’s buses, maintaining a pristine, all-digital workflow from source to processing and output.
