EAW Fly-Bar Rigging for KF730P Line Array & SB730P Subwoofer

$0.00

The KF730P Series is a compact, fixed installation, line array system that sets a performance benchmark above similar systems. It delivers 3-way, KF Series performance in a flexible, easy-to-use system that can deliver concert-level output in an exceptionally wide range of venues.

The KF730P is an excellent solution for fixed installation applications such as houses of worship, theatres, hotel ballrooms, arenas, and concert halls. The system is also ideal for supplemental coverage for larger line arrays, such as the KF760 Series. Such uses include audience side fill, delayed arrays for balconies, and stage/performer coverage.

One large MF/HF horn fills the entire face of the enclosure, better maintaining horizontal pattern control throughout the MF/HF passband. The curved aperture MF loading slots effectively move the MF acoustic origin further into the horn than physical space permits. The side-mounted LF drivers provide a forward-firing, figure eight type pattern. The drivers are spaced so that the LF beamwidth matches the MF through crossover.

The KF730P input features barrier strip terminals. A separate terminal strip is provided for loop-through connection for daisy-chaining additional KF730Ps. The KF730P is configured using the included KF730P Splay Angle Brackets to bolt the enclosures together. This rigging system is fully compatible with the companion SB730P subwoofer.

Six year warranty.

About the EAW Fly-Bar Rigging for KF730P Line Array & SB730P Subwoofer

The EAW Fly-Bar Rigging is a specialized, engineered hardware system designed for the safe and precise flying of EAW KF730P line array elements and SB730P subwoofers. This dedicated rigging assembly is a critical component for deploying these loudspeakers in overhead arrays, enabling the creation of vertically splayed columns that can be suspended from venue structures or dedicated trussing. The fly-bar serves as the central mechanical spine, interfacing directly with the integrated rigging points on each cabinet to manage the substantial weight and dynamic forces involved. Its primary function is to ensure absolute structural integrity while providing accurate and repeatable angular adjustment between cabinets, which is essential for acoustically tailoring the vertical coverage pattern of the array to suit a specific venue's geometry.

Constructed from high-strength, forged steel components and utilizing load-rated hardware, the system is built to meet rigorous international safety standards for overhead loads. The design incorporates a positive-locking mechanism that provides both visual and tactile confirmation when cabinets are securely attached, a vital safety feature during array assembly. The fly-bar allows for a defined range of vertical splay angles, which system designers use to optimize audience coverage. Integrated secondary safety attachment points are a standard and crucial feature, allowing for the use of redundant safety cables or straps that provide an additional, independent layer of protection against mechanical failure.

For audio professionals and riggers using the EAW KF730P/SB730P system, this dedicated fly-bar rigging is not an accessory but an essential, manufacturer-approved component for any flown application. It transforms individual loudspeakers into a scalable, cohesive array with predictable acoustic performance. By ensuring safe suspension and precise physical alignment, this hardware guarantees that the sophisticated acoustic design of the line array is realized as intended, delivering consistent, controlled sound to the audience while upholding the highest standards of crew and public safety.
