The Chauvet AbyssUSB 30W 5-Color Water Effect is a dynamic LED lighting fixture designed to simulate the appearance of a multicolored, flowing water effect in any environment, with or without the use of fog. It utilizes a single, high-power 30W cool white LED light source with an expected life of 50,000 hours, making it an energy-efficient alternative to older incandescent effects lights. The light projects captivating ripple patterns onto floors, walls, or ceilings, and its double yoke allows for flexible positioning, including use as an uplight to create distinct themes like underwater or volcanic effects.

For expansive design options, the fixture incorporates a dichroic color wheel offering five distinct colors (amber, green, blue, yellow, and purple) plus open white, which can also be set to a smooth rainbow scroll. In addition to the color wheel, two independently controllable glass effect wheels further enhance the movement and dynamics of the projected patterns, allowing for varied and complex visual displays. A manual focus knob is also included to ensure clarity of the effect at most projection distances.

Control of the AbyssUSB is versatile, catering to various user preferences. It can be operated in stand-alone mode via a built-in digital display or through an optional IRC-6 wireless remote control (sold separately). For integrated lighting systems, it features DMX control capability using 3-pin XLR connectors, with 3 DMX channels available. The unit is also D-Fi USB compatible, enabling wireless master/slave or DMX control when a D-Fi USB transceiver is used (sold separately), saving time on running cables for complex setups. The fixture is power linkable, allowing multiple units to share a single power source.
