The Radio Active Designs UV-1G is a professional-grade wireless intercom base station, part of a system designed to operate efficiently in crowded RF environments. The system uses Enhanced Narrow Band (ENB) technology, with beltpacks operating in the less-congested VHF band and the base station broadcasting in the UHF band, which saves valuable UHF spectrum for other devices like wireless microphones and in-ear monitors. A single base station can support up to six beltpacks, and multiple base stations can be linked to support more packs.
