Description
Part of Ashly's Protea™ NE series, the NE4800D is a powerful system processor designed for commercial and installed audio applications. The "D" in the model name indicates the pre-installed 4-channel AES3 (AES/EBU) digital input card, which complements the four balanced analog line-level inputs. A powerful 32-bit SHARC floating-point DSP engine processes audio with a full suite of features, including a matrix mixer, equalization, filters, and feedback suppression. The unit lacks front-panel controls for security and is managed remotely via Ashly's Protea NE Software on a PC.
