Description

The NXE Series 2-Channel Networkable Multi-Mode Power Amplifier from Ashly comes pre-installed with OPDAC4 internal 4-Channel DAC with selectable HPF and OPDante Dante Network Audio Interface cards. The OPDante card enables access to digital audio networks at low latencies (83.3 μs) over fast Ethernet. It can be installed in the rear card slot of NXE series amplifiers. Signal can be routed from other Dante enabled devices by simply connecting a Cat5e or Cat6 cable to the card's primary or secondary (redundant) Ethernet ports. The amplifier is capable of driving 2 Ohms loads at full power and offers a maximum rated output power of 800W per channel at Low Z, 70V, and 100V modes. In addition, the amplifier is suitable for use in performance venues, stadiums, arenas, convention centers as well as schools, store fronts, and places of worship. The multi-mode amplifier features an automatic but defeatable sleep mode consuming <1W, and instant standby mode controlled by contact closure or software. A switch mode power supply can auto-detect 120 or 240 VAC mains, and a Neutrik powerCON is used for the AC cord. Each channel features a selectable output mode of Low Z, 70V, or 100V, an 80 Hz high-pass filter, input limiter, and input gain settings of 26 dB, 32 dB, 38 dB, or 1.4V. Each channel comes with a remote DC level control. The amplifier comes with Neutrik XLR/TRS combo jack and Euroblock input connectors and Neutrik speakON output connectors. The unit features a front panel power switch and level controls that can be disabled. The LEDs indicate Protect, Sleep, Disabled, Com, and Bridge mode status, as well as Temperature, Output Current, Output Signal, and Clipping/Mute status per channel. The Ashly nXE8002BD is a professional 2-channel networkable multi-mode power amplifier designed for demanding installed sound applications requiring high-output amplification, advanced network control, and seamless Dante® digital audio integration. Based on the Ashly nXe Series, this model is factory-equipped with both the OPDante® network audio interface and OPDAC4 digital-to-analog converter card, enabling direct integration into Dante-enabled audio networks while maintaining exceptional audio performance and flexible loudspeaker system configuration. It is ideally suited for stadiums, theaters, houses of worship, convention centers, educational facilities, and commercial AV installations.

Powered by efficient Class-D amplifier technology with a switch-mode power supply, the nXE8002BD delivers 800 watts per channel and supports Low-Z, 70V, and 100V loudspeaker systems through programmable output configuration. Built-in Ethernet networking allows complete remote configuration, monitoring, preset management, scheduling, and diagnostics using Ashly Protea™ software. The amplifier also incorporates programmable DSP functions including input gain selection, high-pass filtering, limiting, and remote level control to optimize system performance and loudspeaker protection.

The factory-installed OPDante module enables low-latency Dante digital audio transport over standard Gigabit Ethernet networks with redundant network ports for increased system reliability. The accompanying OPDAC4 module provides high-quality digital-to-analog conversion for Dante audio, allowing direct integration into modern networked audio infrastructures without requiring external converters. Additional installation features include event scheduling, programmable power sequencing, preset recall, auxiliary preamp outputs, logic fault outputs, and serial remote control support.
