Its flat frequency response and selectable settings—two low-cut filter options and a -15 dB pad—make the KSM32/SL honest and versatile, so it can be used on anything from vocals and guitars to drums and piano. The SL model comes with a ShureLock shockmount, ShureLock stand mount, velveteen pouch, and hard shell carrying case.

The uniform cardioid polar pattern of the KSM32/SL helps reduce the capture of stage bleed and background noise, allowing you to achieve more gain and stronger direct sound. The built-in pop protection utilizes three separate layers to minimize noise from vocal plosives, breaths, and even light wind. Internal shock-mounting helps to decouple the mic from sources of vibration that could otherwise transfer from the mic body to the capsule. Being a solid-state XLR condenser mic, the KSM32/SL requires 48V phantom power.
