Description
Description
The Shure UA844 is an active antenna distribution/splitter and power distribution unit used in wireless microphone systems. It takes a pair of input antennas (the diversity pair) and splits the RF output to feed multiple receivers, while also supplying DC power to those receivers and maintaining antenna bias. Its goal is to simplify rack setup, reduce the number of antennas needed, and preserve signal integrity when multiple receivers are used.
