Description
The Soundcraft Multimode Optical MADI card is an option card for compatible Si and Vi Series digital mixing consoles and stageboxes. It provides 64 channels of MADI input and 64 channels of MADI output via industry-standard SC fiber connectors. The card allows for robust, high-channel-count digital audio transmission over moderate distances, with connectivity up to 1500 meters using multimode fiber. This card is essential for connecting Soundcraft consoles to other MADI-compatible devices, such as remote stage racks, other consoles, broadcast feeds, or multitrack recording systems. It supports dual redundant cabling via two duplex SC connectors, with automatic switchover in the event of a fiber cable failure.
