The Soundcraft ViO/D21 Optical MADI card is an expansion module providing 64 channels of bidirectional MADI audio for Soundcraft Vi Series digital mixing consoles and stageboxes. It offers a high-performance, long-distance alternative to the Cat5 MADI card by utilizing industry-standard SC fiber connectors. The card is available in both multimode and single mode variants, enabling reliable signal transmission over distances of up to 1,500m and 10km, respectively. It supports dual redundant fiber connections with automatic switchover, ensuring system resilience for mission-critical applications.
