Description

The module can be inserted in the 8-Bay Frame in either direction, allowing the inputs/outputs to be positioned either at the front or the back of the unit depending on the application. There are no exposed PCBs as all modules are enclosed, and therefore protected against static shock, dust and general wear and tear. Gold-plated, redundant spring pins with magnetic retention deliver DC power to the modules, meaning no messy cabling and external power bricks are needed.

  • Reversible Design: Mounts in the XVVRF8 frame in either direction, putting inputs/outputs at the front or back as needed.
  • 12G-SDI Support: Handles resolutions up to 4K (4096x2160p60, 3840x2160p60) and all lower SDI rates (6G, 3G, HD, SD).
  • Distribution: One SDI input split to eight reclocked and amplified SDI outputs.
  • Rugged & Enclosed: No exposed PCBs, protecting against static, dust, and shock for tour-ready use.
  • Power: Receives DC power via gold-plated magnetic pins from the frame, eliminating external power bricks.
  • Signal Compatibility: Auto-detects incoming signal format (12G, 6G, 3G, HD, SD).
  • Audio/Color: Supports 4:2:2 & 4:4:4 sampling, YUV & RGB color spaces, and 48kHz/24-bit audio.
