The AW 5.2T+ speakers have been redesigned with beefier transformers to handle higher power, resulting in increased SPL without additional distortion.

The transformers in the AW 5.2T+ speakers are not just any transformers. They use audio-grade laminations and heavy, high-insulated wire. The cores are made of grain-oriented steel. This design allows for higher power handling with minimal insertion loss, leading to almost double the power of other wall mount speakers in the same price range.
