About the ADJ ULT538 ULTRA KLING BAR 18 Indoor LED bar

The ADJ ULT538 ULTRA KLING BAR 18 is a compact, high-output LED bar fixture designed for indoor stage lighting, mobile DJ applications, and architectural accent lighting. This fixture features a linear array of 18 powerful 10-watt RGBW LEDs, combining red, green, blue, and white LED emitters within each cluster to produce a broad spectrum of saturated colors, pastel tints, and a variable white light output. The "ULTRA KLING" name refers to its integrated mounting system, which includes robust, heavy-duty brackets that allow multiple units to be easily linked together end-to-end or mounted vertically or horizontally on trussing, stages, or set pieces without the need for additional hardware. This modular design facilitates the creation of continuous lines or clusters of light, making it a versatile tool for creating eye-catching backdrops, uplighting, and perimeter lighting for stages and dance floors.

The fixture excels in delivering both punchy, dynamic color effects and smooth, even washes of light. Each of the 18 LED clusters is individually addressable, allowing for pixel-mapped effects where color and intensity can be controlled independently across the length of the bar. This enables sophisticated chases, gradients, and patterns that can be synchronized to music. The inclusion of a dedicated white LED chip is a significant advantage, providing a clean, bright white light that can be mixed with colors to create more natural pastels or used independently for pure white wash applications. The LED bar is controlled via standard DMX512 protocol, offering multiple channel modes to balance control granularity with simplicity, and also includes built-in automated sound-activated programs and master/slave synchronization for operation without a dedicated lighting controller.

Housed in a durable, extruded aluminum casing with a polycarbonate lens, the ULTRA KLING BAR 18 is built for the rigors of mobile entertainment. Its low power consumption and minimal heat output make it suitable for extended use in venues with limited power or cooling. The fixture’s combination of high-intensity output, individual pixel control, modular physical design, and user-friendly operation makes it a popular choice for DJs, nightclubs, event planners, and house of worship production teams looking to add impactful, colorful linear lighting elements to their shows with straightforward setup and reliable performance.
