The ne4250 features a highly efficient, energy-conscious Class-D platform with a switching power supply. It is housed in a rugged 2RU, rack-mountable chassis for standard equipment racks. It uses standard Euroblock connectors for all audio inputs and outputs, ensuring wide compatibility with various systems. The amplifier's networking capabilities allow for remote control and monitoring of its functions via standard 10/100 Ethernet and Ashly's Protea ne Software. It can be ordered with or without an optional integrated DSP processor and accepts optional expansion modules for additional functionality, such as AES3, CobraNet, or Dante network audio inputs.
