The BMFL WashBeam is built around a powerful 1,700W OSRAM Lok-it! HTI lamp with a 6,000K color temperature and a high CRI of 92+. It produces an extremely high light output of 41,000 lumens, with an illuminance of 300,000 lux at 5 meters. The fixture features a 9:1 zoom optical system with a 180mm front lens, offering a beam angle range of 5° to 45°.
Its advanced effects engine includes a rotating gobo wheel with six replaceable gobos, a versatile animation wheel, and a 4-blade framing shutter system. The framing shutters can be individually positioned and the entire module can rotate, allowing for precise beam shaping and creating dynamic in-air effects. The fixture also includes dual color wheels, CMY mixing, variable CTO, and multiple frost filters for seamless color transitions and beam softening. For smooth and precise movement, the BMFL WashBeam incorporates Robe's Electronic Motion Stabilizer (EMS™), which reduces beam deviation caused by external vibrations.
