As a passive unit, it requires no external power source (batteries or phantom power) to operate, relying on its internal custom-designed transformers to handle the impedance conversion and signal balancing. This transformer isolation effectively eliminates troublesome ground loops and reduces unwanted hum and noise in the audio signal path. The unit features standard 1/4" input and parallel link/thru jacks for simple connection to both an amplifier and the PA system simultaneously, along with balanced XLR male output connectors. It also includes a robust ground lift switch on each channel for further troubleshooting of ground-related noise issues, ensuring clean and reliable audio transmission over long cable runs.
