The VQ 100 is a full range, self-powered, three-way loudspeaker system designed for applications which require very high output capability with class leading pattern control. The VQ 100 is perfectly suited for use in arrays or singly in demanding applications. Unlike line array solutions, the VQ 100 can produce enough power and clarity to be used individually, or in paired clusters for wider coverage, maintaining your building’s aesthetics and sight lines.

With low frequency extension to 90 Hz, the VQ 100 can be combined with various subwoofers From the VSX series for extended bandwidth.

About the Tannoy VQ 100 3-Way Dual 12" Large Format Loudspeaker for High-Performance Installation Applications

Designed for accurate sound reproduction, the Tannoy VQ 100 is a passive 3-way dual 12" loudspeaker with a dual concentric mid-high section that offers high output and optimal phase coherence for high-performance installation applications. The VQ 100's full-range output produces extremely powerful audio signals with class-leading pattern control. The 100° conical dispersion allows installations of tightly packed point-source clusters for wide coverage while maintaining the venue's aesthetics and sight lines.

The VQ 100 has a 1300W continuous (5200W peak) power handling. The dual 12" woofers are arranged in a semi-horn-loaded design, while the dual concentric 3.5" and 1.75" diaphragm compression drivers provide clear mid- and high-frequency reproduction. The maximum SPL is a massive 141 dB peak, plenty of volume to cover hundreds of patrons. The VQ 100 can be configured for use in bi-amp or tri-amp mode, in conjunction with a Lake LM26/44 digital signal processor (DSP) or Lab Gruppen PLM+ or D series platforms, with factory presets from the Lake Load Library.
