ART ProSplit High Performance Transformer Isolated Mic Splitter

The ART ProSplit High Performance Transformer-Isolated Mic Splitter is a professional passive audio signal splitter designed to route a single microphone signal to two separate destinations. It provides one direct XLR output and one transformer-isolated XLR output, making it particularly useful when a microphone needs to feed a front-of-house mixer and a monitor or recording mixer simultaneously. The direct output is connected directly to the input and can pass phantom power from the mixing console to support condenser microphones. The isolated output uses transformer isolation to help prevent ground-loop noise between connected audio systems.

The ProSplit also incorporates a switchable ground-lift function on the isolated output and an input pad for accommodating higher-level sources. The input pad can be used when connecting a preamplified line-level signal, while the ground lift can help reduce hum caused by ground loops. Because the unit is entirely passive, it requires no external power supply.
