The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel 20 is a professional hardware control surface designed to provide tactile, broadcast-style control over the ATEM 1 M/E Constellation series live production switchers. It offers a comprehensive array of physical buttons, knobs, and faders, enabling technical directors and operators to manage complex live productions with speed and precision. The panel is engineered to mirror the software layout of the switcher, granting instant access to source selection, transitions, keyers, media playback, and the integrated Fairlight audio mixer, thereby enhancing workflow efficiency and creative control during live broadcasts, sports events, and studio productions.

This control surface features multiple banks of illuminated source selection buttons, allowing for quick assignment and recall of hundreds of inputs. It includes dedicated sections for Preview and Program buses, a full transition area with controls for mix, dip, wipe, and DVE moves, and a comprehensive audio section with channel faders and trim knobs. A central joystick provides intuitive control over Digital Video Effects (DVE), such as picture-in-picture positioning and sizing. Two high-resolution LCD screens offer clear feedback on preview/program buses, keyer status, audio meters, media pool contents, and system configuration, ensuring the operator remains fully informed without relying on the main production monitor.
