Manufactured by Lightware and distributed by DVI Gear, it is designed for demanding professional AV, broadcast, and high-end home theater applications.The MXP-FR33R is a 7U rack-mountable frame that provides the physical backbone and processing power for a highly flexible AV routing solution. Its primary advantage is its modular "hybrid" design, allowing AV professionals to populate the chassis with a wide variety of input and output boards (e.g., DVI, HDMI, 3G-SDI, fiber optic, or twisted pair using HDBaseT) to create a customized, cross-platform routing system.
