The Kiloview U1-4-NDI is a professional 1U rackmount video encoder engineered to seamlessly integrate traditional SDI-based broadcast equipment into modern IP production workflows utilizing the NDI protocol. This quad-channel unit accepts four independent SDI inputs, supporting signals up to 3G-SDI, and simultaneously encodes each feed into a high-quality, low-latency NDI stream. This capability allows broadcasters, live event producers, and AV integrators to make cameras, graphics playout systems, replay machines, and other SDI sources instantly available as network resources. These streams can be accessed by any NDI-compatible software or hardware on the local area network, such as vMix, OBS Studio, NewTek TriCasters, or other Kiloview decoders, enabling flexible IP-based switching, streaming, and multi-viewer monitoring without the need for dedicated capture cards or SDI routing infrastructure.

A key feature of the encoder is its focus on operational efficiency and reliability. Each of the four BNC inputs is auto-sensing, capable of handling SD, HD, and 3G-SDI signals with embedded audio, simplifying setup.
