The AJA Hi5-Plus is a versatile and rugged mini-converter designed for seamless integration between professional SDI and consumer-grade HDMI equipment. Audio integration is a strong suit, with the Hi5-Plus supporting up to 16 channels of embedded SDI audio on the input, and passing a user-selectable 8 channels to the HDMI output. For separate monitoring needs, it also includes two channels of RCA-style analog audio outputs. The device intelligently handles various video formats, including converting incoming 1080PsF signals to 1080p for full compatibility with standard progressive scan HDMI displays.
