The RM-220 is a professional remote intercom station, part of a series designed for high-performance communication in demanding environments. This remote speaker/headset station provides two-channel, selectable talk and listen capabilities—all within a single rack space.

Operators can communicate on either channel independently or on both channels simultaneously, without linking the two. The RM-220 features a specially contoured audio response to ensure outstanding speech intelligibility, even in high-noise conditions.

The unit allows monitoring of intercom activity on one or both channels, with individual listen level controls. Audio can be monitored via a headset, the built-in speaker, or both simultaneously. A powerful 4-watt output amplifier drives either the wide-response speaker or a Clear-Com headset to high volume levels—ideal for noisy environments. Additionally, a “speaker dipping” circuit reduces feedback when multiple stations are used in close proximity.

For added flexibility, the RM-220 includes a convenient speaker on/off switch for private conversations through the headset. It supports dynamic headsets and is also compatible with an optional plug-in gooseneck microphone.
