About the Venetex VS-R45 Remote Control Panel

The Venetex VS-R45 is a 1RU hardware remote control panel designed specifically to interface with and expand the control footprint of Panasonic professional live production switchers, such as the AV-HS450 and the AV-HS6000 series. Typically installed in an engineering rack, a secondary control room, or a producer's desk, it allows an auxiliary operator to seamlessly route video signals without physically sitting at the main Technical Director's switcher console.

Because live broadcast events often require dedicated, independent video feeds for in-house IMAG jumbotrons, backstage monitors, or webcast encoders, the VS-R45 allows a user to remotely take control of the switcher's assignable AUX buses, as well as the main Program (PGM) and Preview (PVW) outputs. Beyond simple hard cuts, it features an integrated "AUTO" button, allowing the remote operator to execute timed transitions, dissolves, and downstream key (DSK) overlays directly from the panel.
