The compact ground stack version of the SXC118 features an 18" forward-facing driver and a 14" rear-facing driver that together produce a cardioid output from the sub. Multi-laminate birch ply with a rugged poly coating form the cabinet for the 14" and 18" speakers that are protected from the outside world by perforated steel grilles to ensure reliability show after show. Interlocking skids prevent movement when stacked and a threaded plate in the top surface facilitates pole-mounting of up to 4 WPM enclosures or a single point source loudspeaker.
