The DAS Audio ALTEA-718A is a high-performance, self-powered subwoofer system designed to deliver extended low-frequency support for full-range cabinets in professional live sound and installation environments. At its core is the DAS 18FW4 high-efficiency 18-inch transducer, which features a FEM-optimized design and an extended 3-inch voice coil for long excursion and deep bass. Powered by a cutting-edge 1200W peak (600W continuous) Class D amplifier, the system is capable of reaching a maximum peak SPL of 134 dB, providing impactful low-end energy for concerts, DJ sets, and corporate events.

The system is integrated with the DAScontrol™ interface, featuring a 24-bit DSP and an LCD screen on the rear panel for quick setup and adjustment of digital presets. Its rugged enclosure is constructed from durable birch plywood and finished with a protective ISO-flex paint to withstand the rigors of the road. For versatile mounting and expansion, the cabinet includes integrated M10 rigging points, a standard 35mm pole mount socket for stacking satellite speakers, and stereo "loop-thru" output connections to easily link additional systems
