The IDX System Technology IA-200a is a rugged, compact 100W AC adapter and dual-channel DC power supply engineered specifically for professional broadcast, location sound, and electronic news gathering (ENG) environments. Designed to power production-tier field equipment, the unit features an internal, universal power supply that automatically accepts auto-switching AC input voltages ranging from 100V to 240V without requiring manual adjustments. Its standout capability is its dual 4-pin XLR female DC outputs, which can distribute a total of 100 watts of continuous power at 13.8V. This dual-channel design lets video crews power a professional field camera and an external production monitor or viewfinder simultaneously from a single, centralized power brick.

Constructed inside a highly durable metal enclosure with an integrated top carrying handle, the IA-200a is built to withstand heavy daily use on location or in a production studio while weighing just 2.9 pounds (1.3 kg).
