The 7720AD4 is a card-style SD‑SDI AES audio de‑embedder, designed to extract up to two embedded audio groups (SMPTE ST272) from a 270Mb/s SD‑SDI video stream. Each group contains up to four channels, which are output as four unbalanced AES signals. There are variants that offer balanced AES or analog outputs, depending on the model.
