The Clear-Com PL Pro RM-220 2-Channel Remote Station is a professional, single-rack-space (1U) speaker and headset intercom station designed for high-performance communication in demanding production environments such as broadcast studios, live theatre, and industrial applications. This station provides the operator with selectable two-channel communication, allowing them to talk and listen on either channel independently or on both simultaneously without linking the channels. The unit ensures outstanding speech intelligibility even in high-noise areas through a specially contoured audio response and a powerful 4-watt speaker amplifier capable of driving a headset to high volume levels.

Operational flexibility is a key feature of the RM-220. It includes illuminated dual-action talk buttons that can be set for electronic momentary or latching (hands-free) operation. For private conversations, the built-in speaker can be switched off, automatically routing audio to the headset. Visual Call Signaling attracts the attention of operators who may have removed their headsets or muted their speakers, and the call signals can also be controlled remotely via a footswitch.
