The KP-12PB key panel is a core component in a digital matrix intercom system (such as the RTS ADAM, ADAM-CS, Cronus, or Zeus series). Its compact, rugged design makes it suitable for applications where space is limited, such as in mobile production trucks or control rooms. The panel is fully programmable via user-friendly pull-down menus selected through a front-panel shaft encoder, which allows for versatile assignment of functions including point-to-point communication, IFB (Interruptible Foldback), ISO (Isolation), PL (Party Line), and relay/GPI triggers. The "W/RC" (With Rear Connector) variant includes additional connection options on the back panel for enhanced integration into larger systems, such as GPI (General Purpose Interface) functionality. The panel comes with a built-in speaker and connections for a headset and an optional gooseneck microphone, providing multiple user interface options.
