The MONDO comes with Avantone Pro's SSM shockmount, a rugged, precision device manufactured from heavy-duty die-cast zinc that effectively decouples the mic from low-frequency energy transfer while holding the mic securely. The shockmount's O-rings are made using a custom ethylene propylene formula that provides enormous resistance to breakage and surface nicks while remaining supple and effective in hot dry climates.

Nuances like internal shockmounting on the capsule assembly assist in preventing the transmission of unwanted rumble due to structure-borne vibration. Additionally, the machined insets on the barrel of the mic body allow the O-rings of the included SSM shockmount to securely lock the microphone into place.
