The Sennheiser ASA 214 is an active antenna splitter purpose-built for professional wireless systems, designed to distribute signals from a pair of remote antennas to up to four true diversity receivers simultaneously. As the central component of a rack-mounted wireless system, this 1U unit eliminates antenna clutter by allowing up to four dual-channel receivers to share just two external antennas, significantly improving RF performance and simplifying setup for multi-channel applications.

Engineered for Sennheiser's evolution wireless G4, G3, and G2 series, the ASA 214 features two BNC antenna inputs (ANT RF IN A and B) and eight BNC outputs (A1-A4 and B1-B4) for distribution. A dedicated RF OUT A BNC socket enables cascading of an additional ASA 214, expanding the system to feed eight receivers from the same pair of antennas. The unit provides passive power to connected evolution wireless receivers over the BNC cables, directly feeding DC voltage to the receivers and eliminating the need for multiple individual power supplies.

The active design incorporates amplification circuitry to compensate for passive splitter losses, maintaining unity gain (0 ± 1 dB) across all outputs while delivering high third-order intercept performance. Housed in a durable full-metal chassis suitable for rack mounting with the optional GA 3 rack mount kit, the ASA 214 includes the NT 1-1 universal power supply with EU, UK, and US adapters, plus eight 50cm BNC cables. A second variant, the ASA 214-1G8, is optimized for 1.8 GHz applications in the 1785-1805 MHz range, which is common for wireless intercom systems.
