About the Sennheiser EM 3732-II Dual Channel UHF True Diversity Wireless Receiver (618-798Mhz)

The Sennheiser EM 3732-II is a high-performance, dual-channel UHF true diversity wireless receiver designed for the most demanding professional applications in broadcast, large-scale touring, and major fixed installations. Operating across an exceptionally wide frequency range from 618 to 798 MHz, this unit provides extensive flexibility for frequency coordination in globally complex RF environments, allowing system engineers to navigate crowded spectra and find clear channels reliably. Housed in a robust 3U rackmount chassis, it incorporates two completely independent receiver channels, each equipped with its own sophisticated true-diversity system utilizing dual tuners and antenna inputs to ensure maximum signal integrity and eliminate dropouts caused by multipath interference and nulls.

Each channel of the EM 3732-II is built to broadcast standards, featuring high sensitivity and exceptional selectivity to reject adjacent channel interference. The front panel provides comprehensive monitoring and control for both channels, with detailed metering for RF and audio levels, and intuitive navigation for frequency selection and system configuration. Advanced professional features include an integrated spectrum analyzer display for visualizing the RF landscape, automatic frequency scanning to identify open bands, and compatibility with a wide range of Sennheiser handheld and bodypack transmitters. The audio path is engineered for absolute transparency, employing the manufacturer's proprietary companding technology to deliver a wide dynamic range, full-frequency response, and exceptionally low noise and distortion.

Constructed with a heavy-duty metal chassis for durability in touring racks, the receiver offers extensive connectivity on its rear panel. This includes balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.3 mm jack audio outputs for each channel, along with dedicated BNC antenna inputs with loop-through outputs for daisy-chaining multiple units. The EM 3732-II represents the pinnacle of modular wireless receiver technology from its era, providing audio professionals with a reliable, sonically pristine, and highly adaptable solution for managing two critical wireless channels in situations where absolute performance and signal stability cannot be compromised.
