About the Sennheiser GA 3 Rack Mount Kit

The Sennheiser GA 3 is a professional 19-inch rack mount kit designed to securely install one or two half-rack width evolution wireless devices in a single standard 1U rack space. Engineered for Sennheiser's extensive wireless ecosystem, this accessory is compatible with evolution wireless G3 and G4 series receivers and transmitters, as well as the newer EW-D and EW-DX rack receivers, in addition to the AC 3 active antenna combiner and ASA 1 antenna splitter.

The kit includes heavy-duty steel mounting angles and a blanking plate that occupies the unused half of the rack width when mounting a single device. The blanking plate features two pre-punched apertures with removable covers, which serve two critical installation purposes: they allow the supplied rod antennas to be mounted on the front of the rack using the AM 2 antenna front mounting set (sold separately), providing improved line-of-sight reception compared to rear-mounted antennas in metal racks, or they serve as convenient termination points for external remote antennas.

Whether configuring a multi-channel IEM monitoring system, a multi-receiver wireless microphone rack, or an antenna distribution setup, the GA 3 provides the essential structural foundation for a clean, professional, and reliable wireless installation. The kit includes all required recessed head screws (M4x8 for device attachment and M6x10 for blanking plate attachment) for straightforward assembly.
