The Barco PDS-902 3G-SDI Digital Switcher is a compact, 1U rack-mountable presentation switcher designed for professional applications requiring a high-quality, fast, and seamless transition between multiple video sources. The unit excels in environments such as live events, hotel ballrooms, houses of worship, and corporate training facilities due to its straightforward setup and operation. It is engineered to meet modern demands for more digital inputs at an accessible price point.

Key to its functionality is the versatility of inputs, which include four DVI-I inputs with full HDCP support, one 3G/HD/SD-SDI input, and four universal analog VGA inputs, all supporting the EDID 1.3 specification. This wide range ensures compatibility with diverse source equipment. The PDS-902 3G provides simultaneous program output via DVI and analog VGA connectors, along with a dedicated 3G/HD/SD-SDI output featuring BarcoLink support for easy connection to Barco projectors. A separate preview output is available, which can display the program, preview, or a test pattern at a different resolution than the main output. The switcher also allows users to capture and store up to three images for use as a logo source during a presentation and includes built-in test patterns. The PDS series won a Commercial Integrator BEST Award at InfoComm 2013, a testament to its quality and design.
