The FOR-A HVS-30OU Digital Video Switcher is not a self-contained switcher but rather the dedicated operation control panel designed to be paired with the separate FOR-A HVS-300HS (or HVS-300RPS) main switcher unit. This panel provides the physical interface for controlling all switching, effects, and settings of the main frame unit.It connects to the main HVS-300HS unit via an ARCNET interface using a BNC cable, allowing for extended cable runs between the control room and the equipment rack. The panel also includes a joystick for DVE (Digital Video Effects) control, a numeric keypad, and user-assignable function buttons. This modular design allows broadcast professionals to place the processing unit in a secure equipment room while operating the system from the control desk.
