The Furman HDS-6 serves as the core of a modular "House of Worship" (HW) headphone system, providing a streamlined solution for delivering up to six channels of audio to multiple users. The rear panel features standard 1/4-inch Tip-Ring-Sleeve (TRS) inputs for Channels 1 through 5, a stereo line-level input for Channel 6 (often used for a main stereo mix or effects return), and six RJ-45 outputs that connect via standard CAT5e cables to the individual HR-6 remote mixer units. Each CAT5e cable carries all six channels of audio, plus DC power, eliminating the need for individual power supplies at each remote station and simplifying cable management.
