The AJA HA5-Plus HDMI to HD/SD converter converts HDMI signals to 3G/HD/SD SDI output, allowing seamless integration between HDMI sources and SDI workflows. It supports up to 1080p/60 resolution with 4:2:2 10-bit color and passes through up to eight channels of embedded HDMI audio. The converter features an equalized HDMI input that supports long HDMI cable runs up to 30 meters for flexibility. It offers two RCA analog audio inputs that can embed separate audio into the SDI output, enhancing audio options. The unit ensures low jitter performance on the SDI output through PLL clock filtering and provides input source indication with LED status. Configuration is supported via AJA MiniConfig software on Mac and PC.
