Digital Mixing Consoles with Professional-Level Features

Digital audio mixers have become the standard in professional audio and music production. They offer more flexibility, more processing power, and more features in a smaller size than analog mixers. Scene recall, built-in effects, remote control via tablet or laptop, and network audio integration are now table stakes for most professional applications.

AVGear carries new, used, demo, and B-stock digital audio consoles from the brands professionals rely on. Every digital console in our 30,000 sq ft Las Vegas warehouse is tested by our team before it ships.

  • Access to high-end consoles at a fraction of new pricing
  • Every unit tested and graded before it ships
  • Decades of hands-on live sound experience on our team
  • Clear condition ratings so you know exactly what you're getting

Have Questions?

What's the difference between a digital mixer and an analog mixer?

Analog mixers process audio through physical circuitry and offer a straightforward, hands-on workflow. Digital mixers convert the audio signal to digital data, allowing for built-in effects, scene recall, remote control, and more flexible routing in a smaller footprint. Many digital consoles also include a built-in USB audio interface for direct recording or live streaming. Digital consoles have become the standard for most professional applications, though some engineers still prefer analog for specific use cases.

If you're looking for analog inputs, check out our full Mixers collection.

What is scene recall?

Scene recall lets you save all console settings and recall them instantly. This is useful for events with multiple acts, houses of worship with different service formats, or any situation where you need to switch configurations quickly without resetting everything manually.

What is a stage box?

A stage box (also called a digital snake or I/O rack) is a remote unit that houses microphone preamps and line inputs. It connects to the mixing console over a network audio protocol, replacing heavy analog snakes with a single lightweight cable run. Stage boxes keep preamps close to the source for better audio quality and easier setup.

Does AVGear test digital mixers before selling them?

Yes. Every digital mixer goes through hands-on testing at our Las Vegas facility. We verify all inputs, outputs, motorized faders, touch screens, and network connectivity to make sure everything works as expected. Each unit receives a functionality rating that is visible when purchasing, so you know exactly what you're getting.

Is the firmware up to date on used digital mixers?

We verify firmware update status on each console and update it where applicable. If a unit is running older firmware, we note that in the listing. Our team can answer questions about software compatibility and whether a specific console will work with current apps or control software.

What's included with each digital mixer?

Included accessories vary by listing. Some consoles come with road cases, power supplies, or additional I/O cards; others are sold as the console only. Each product listing specifies what's included, and our team can clarify details before you buy.

Will a used digital mixer work with my existing audio network?

That depends on the console's network protocol. Common options include Dante, AES50, MADI, and proprietary formats. Check the console's specs against your stage boxes, I/O racks, or other networked gear. If you have questions about compatibility, our team can help you sort it out before you buy.

Can I sell my digital mixer to AVGear?

Yes. We work with production companies, rental houses, houses of worship, recording studios, and individual sellers to move digital mixing consoles through our consignment, buyout, and auction programs. Visit our Sell Your Gear page to get started.

Can I use a digital mixer for recording?

Yes. Many digital consoles include a built-in USB audio interface for direct multitrack recording to a laptop or computer. Some models also support live-recording software integration, allowing you to capture individual channels or the stereo mix during a performance.

Can I expand the I/O on a digital mixer?

Many digital consoles include an expansion slot (or multiple slots) for adding I/O cards. This lets you customize the console for your specific sound reinforcement system or facility setup. Check the console's specs for available expansion options, and contact our team if you need help finding compatible cards.
