This versatile module supports dimming of both forward and reverse phase type loads, making it compatible with virtually any dimmable lighting technology including incandescent, electronic and magnetic low-voltage, neon or cold cathode, and 2-wire dimmable fluorescent loads. Each channel features auto load detection that automatically identifies the connected load type and selects the appropriate operating mode, allowing a single module to handle any combination of lighting types across four independent circuits.

Engineered for superior performance and reliability, the DIN-1DIMU4 incorporates Crestron's proprietary zero cross filter technology that provides exceptional immunity to power line noise, eliminating lamp flicker and compensating for voltage and frequency fluctuations. Built-in overcurrent protection prevents damage from excessive loading or improper wiring, while a master air-gap relay automatically opens when all channels are turned fully off, providing safe isolation for servicing light fixtures. An override input allows external contact closure to temporarily override the control system program and set each channel to preset levels.
